After collecting you from Adelaide or Glenelg, we head south on a scenic drive. Throughout the day, we will visit 4 fantastic boutique wineries, curated to suit the group’s palate. Your guide will introduce you to the Cellar Door hosts, who will share the stories behind their wines. You may even get to meet a winemaker or tour behind the scenes (subject to availability).
A key stop on our McLaren Vale Shared Tour is a visit to the iconic d’Arenberg Cube. We stop for a quick look and a great photo opportunity of this architectural marvel. (Please note, entrance to the Cube and Dali exhibition is at your own cost if requested).
Vineyard Platter Lunch
For lunch, you’ll enjoy a scrumptious gourmet platter of locally sourced produce at a beautiful winery, with views overlooking the vines. It’s the perfect time to relax, enjoy a glass of wine (at own cost), and chat with your fellow travellers.
We will travel through historic villages and take in the picturesque scenery, with your choice of a hills or coastal route for part of the journey. We return you to your accommodation, satisfied that you’ve had an excellent taste of what the McLaren Vale region has to offer.
