This tour is ideal for solo travellers, couples, and small groups who want to meet new people, while discovering the best of the Barossa. The itinerary for each day is curated to best suit the group and can even be adjusted along the way!
We will visit 3-4 outstanding boutique wineries. At each one, your guide will introduce you to the Cellar Door host, who will share the stories behind the wines. You might even meet a winemaker or taste directly from a barrel (subject to availability).
Gourmet Lunch & Maggie Beer’s
A highlight of the day is a delicious 2-course lunch (appetiser and choice of main meal) at the wonderful Wanera Wine Bar in Angaston. This is a great opportunity to relax, chat with your new-found friends, and enjoy amazing local produce.
We also top off the day with a must-do visit to the famous Maggie Beer’s Farmshop. You’ll have time to browse her full product range, possibly sample some preserves, and perhaps even see a cooking demonstration.
Your day also includes a scenic drive through the historic towns of Tanunda and Angaston and the iconic, palm-tree-lined roads of the Seppeltsfield region.
