After collecting you from your Adelaide or Glenelg accommodation, we embark on a picturesque journey, either through the hills or along the coast. Along the way, we’ll chat about your wine preferences to help shape the day.
A McLaren Vale Private Tour with us means you get to taste wines at beautiful, family-owned wineries, often right next to the vines where the fruit is sourced. We introduce you to the friendly Cellar Door hosts, who will share the stories behind the wines and the history of their vineyards. We typically visit 3-4 outstanding wineries throughout the day.
Lunch & The d’Arenberg Cube
After the morning wine tastings, we settle down for a scrumptious Ploughman’s platter lunch at one of our excellent winery partners, with beautiful vineyard views. (Platter lunch is included; wine with lunch is at your own cost).
No trip to McLaren Vale is complete without seeing the iconic d’Arenberg Cube. We will stop for a quick look and a fantastic photo opportunity. If you wish to enter the Cube for a tasting and to see the Salvador Dali art exhibition, we can easily include this. (Please note, entrance to the Cube is at your own cost).
This tour is all about flexibility. If your group prefers, we can finish the day with a visit to a local craft brewery or gin distillery. There is always something to suit everyone’s taste on this McLaren Vale Private Tour!
