After collecting from your Adelaide CBD or Glenelg accommodation, we embark on a comfortable picturesque journey through the Hills or along the coast.
We start the day at Olivers Taranga vineyards where we get the opportunity to taste the wines in the beautiful cellar door next to the vines that the fruit is sourced from.
We introduce you to the friendly Cellar Door host, who will share the stories of the wines and the history of one of Australia’s oldest family run vineyards.
Our next visit is to the Iconic d’Arenberg Cube described as a winery built within a Rubik’s Cube, we have the opportunity to taste the wine and learn about the complexities and puzzles of the winemaking process.
Entrance to the Salvador Dali art exhibition within the Cube is also included.
Once we have finished exploring the five levels of the Cube, we sit down for a delicious 2-course lunch at the multi-award winning d’Arry’s Verandah restaurant, to feast on some of the finest local and seasonal produce the region has to offer! Should this restaurant be unavailable for any reason, we would change to the excellent The Currant Shed restaurant.
After lunch, content and ready for the afternoon we visit Bekkers Wines, a truly boutique winery owned by Emmanuelle, (French winemaker) and Toby, (Australian viticulturist) who have a commitment to producing McLaren Vale Syrah and Grenache of the highest quality.
*We are more than happy to offer an excellent alternate (boutique family owned) winery if your private group prefers a wider range of alternate Italian varieties to include Whites, Rose and Reds.
